Bad experience. Visit FedEx or Seekonk instead of this store. After a man watched me struggle through the parking lot with a huge return, open sign lit up and door unlocked. Couple min before four yes but still open and door unlocked. I make it in with huge package, no greeting he is immediately frustrated and says: "is that just a return or a shipment." I said a return. He said well we are closed. I explained that I drove 35 min and I'm standing here with the huge 40lb package and you're closed till Monday. He said he already shut the computer off and can't help. Begged him to just turn the printer on to help. He was so ignorant and rude e... Bad experience. Visit FedEx or Seekonk instead of this store. I explained that I drove 35 min and I'm standing here with the huge 40lb package and you're closed till Monday. He said he already shut the computer off and can't help. Begged him to just turn the printer on to help. He was so ignorant and rude even when I explained how hard it was to get this package here. I then asked for a manager to please help me. He said he's the only one. I then asked for a GM name and was given Carmen whom I know would never treat customers this way. His response was OK. Good. Then smiled as he watched me struggle with the package alone, offered no help just ignorance. His smug attitude is the problem with customer service these days. Too worried about getting out of work early on a sunny day. Guess I should wait till Monday and drive all the way back for terrible service..... Nah. Sorry Carmen this one isn't for you but that terrible employee with a bad attitude. Glad he got to laugh while I struggled.
I recently mailed something from this location and misplaced my tracking number. I called, and Carmen saved the day. She was busy and asked if she could call me back. I was prepared to call her back later in the afternoon, but she called me 10 minutes later and gave me my tracking number, and my package is out for delivery. Carmen renewed my faith in customer service.
My experience with the UPS store in Bristol, in particular the Owner Carmen Medeiros was professional, accommodating and helpful. She not only helped me with a difficult return, but offered me an alternative solution to my situation resulting in a much better price option than the original plan. She was patient and kind. I was in the store a week earlier and witnessed a customer giving her such a difficult time. But through it all she kept her composure and displayed a level of professionalism I’m not sure I could have achieved in this situation. A satisfied customer, Brenda DuPont
I just wanted to leave a quick note to apologize for how I acted earlier today when I called the UPS store. The woman who answered was trying to explain how Amazon sometimes refunds items separately, and even though she had a bit of a tone (which I now understand, considering how busy the store must be) she was still doing her best to help me. I got frustrated, started yelling, cursing, and even called one of her coworkers incompetent, which was completely out of line. After talking to Amazon, I realized that what she was telling me was actually correct. I feel bad for how I behaved and want to sincerely apologize. She didn’t deserve that, an... She didn’t deserve that, and I appreciate the patience she showed even when I was being difficult. To the staff at this UPS location, I’m truly sorry and I appreciate everything you do.
