Terrapin Landscapes

We hired Terrapin because of their relationship with Soake Pools, a company we had already spoken with about a plunge pool, and they had worked with Terrapin on other projects. Terrapin was awesome. Their landscape architect Amy Tobin listened to us and spent so much time designing and planning our project - and managing the timeline which was challenging and changing through no fault of theirs. Jeff at Terrapin ran the project, and was also terrific. Personable, careful with our property, and always ready to pivot and accommodate what we wanted. Terrapin is high end, but they are worth every penny.

Mike, Amy, Jeff and everyone at Terrapin designed and executed a full remodel at our home. They did an amazing job with the design, vision, landscape, hardscape, irrigation coordination, pool installation, amazing custom stone quality and work, including the fireplace. They also do a wonderful job of maintenance on our property. They are professional, knowledgeable, talented, and responsive. Needless to say, we are delighted with our spectacular outdoor area.

When we bought our antique house, the backyard was in extensive need of a remodel that included both hardscape and landscape elements. What had once been gardens designed by a horticulturist had long been overgrown. Thankfully, a friend had used Terrapin for their yard and recommended them to us. From the start, we found them incredibly professional. We met with Mike on several occasions to discuss our needs and, once we had a plan in place, the project began on time and ended on time. It was a huge project that started with extensive hardscape work, including an outdoor fireplace, patio with terraced stairs ascending to it from the side yard, a seating wall, and an outdoor kitchen. The team seemed excited about this and every single person on the job demonstrated care and pride for our projects' success. They were friendly, meticulous, and went the extra mile. When it came time for the soft scape, Terrapin's knowledgeable fine gardening team worked with us to respect the property's history and create an oasis that is as functional as it is beautiful. When the project was complete, I found a surprise piece of stone, shaped like Maine, with a heart on it in my gardens. This team created a yard that is truly a work of art. It goes far beyond our expectations.and we happily recommend Terrapin without hesitation.
