Techy Sacramento - Inside Walmart

I brought my iPhone 15 Plus to Techy Store inside Walmart for a screen replacement and paid $146.81. At pickup, I did check the phone and immediately pointed out that the screen looked dull and lower quality. I was told that if I wanted a better display, I would need to pay extra for a higher-quality screen, which I declined. No other issues were mentioned or identified at that time. Later, I discovered that my camera was no longer working, which was working before the repair. When I returned to the store, they claimed there was “nothing on paper” proving the camera worked beforehand. However, their own receipt and process show that devices are not fully documented or tested prior to repair, meaning there is also no proof it was broken before. More importantly, their written policy clearly states that all replaced screens and parts come with a two (2) month guarantee for technical issues. A non-functioning camera is a technical issue, yet instead of honoring their policy, they blamed me and refused responsibility. The only resolution offered was a $30 discount to fix a problem that occurred while the phone was in their care. This experience showed a lack of accountability, quality control, and integrity. I came back calmly and respectfully looking for a fair resolution and left feeling taken advantage of. I would not return here or recommend this location.
