Josh is the owner, and he was phenomenal from start to finish--best contractor I've ever worked with, hands down! If you're someone who values clear communication, attention to detail, and work done the right way, then this is exactly the company you want. Josh provided truly personalized service and was onsite part of the time to personally ensure the work was being done correctly, which gave me a lot of confidence throughout my home project (partial roof build up, sloping adjustment, acrylic coating, clay tile work, skylight installation, etc). On top of that, what really stood out about Josh was his integrity: when he didn't need as much material as originally estimated, he credited me back the difference! I feel as if that level of honesty is so rare in the trade industry, as I've never had anyone credit me money back when a job didn't require as many resources as initially thought. His crew was equally impressive: professional, friendly, and courteous, and they treated my home with respect. Everything was clean and left in excellent condition. I'll admit that I selfishly hesitated to write such a glowing review because I'm hoping Josh will be available when I have future needs--but great work deserves to be recognized! If you're looking for a top-quality, hands-on roofing contractor who I truly believe is the best in Tucson, I highly recommend this company!

UPDATED!!! well this is an update I'm actually excited to write, after the crappy review I left based really on no info on my part just made some assumptions, Josh reached out to not only apologize for the no reply but offered to come take a look at my roof damage himself. After looking at the damage with him he offered to take on the job and begin the process of getting the insurance to cover more of the damage then they initially offered me. Well after no response from the insurance company( American Summit) and then finally a letter actually telling me they would not be renewing my coverage(no new policies in arizona) leaving me with a portion of the budget I'd need to fix what is needed. Now I have to point out here at this stage most if not all companies would walk away here right? Like we tried kind of thing. Not Josh and Storm Damage Specialists, they not only worked with in my budget but his guys even replaced some wood that we didn't discuss because it was bad and the clean up afterwards, I'm left very impressed and beyond great full. I was left feeling like these guys went above and beyond and they left me in a way better position then when they arrived, I couldn't have asked for more. Thank you so much!!

We had extensive damage to our roof from the August monsoon storm, causing leaks and damage inside the house. Due to the high number of claims filed as a result of widespread storm damage, we had difficulty finding anyone who could get the repairs done quickly. Called SDS, they sent John out. He got everything taken care of as quickly as possible and the roof was replaced in one day. He made a stressful process much easier and his crew did an amazing job. Highly recommend.

In a time of trauma when our house and contents were soaked, this company came to our rescue! They were professional and experts and worked through this complicated incident with the utmost of integrity. I think what sets them apart from other’s is that they sincerely cared about us and our well being. Josh was there to guide us through the process and inspected the ongoing job several times daily. He helped us navigate our insurance and did what was best for us. He stayed in touch and even came out several times to check on things after we got rain when the job was done.
