***ZERO STAR UPDATE after a response from this TERRIBLE company - SWKB you might want to ask you new "PM" about the date that she asked for the final payment - that email was sent to me on January 13th and the final attachment for the dishwasher to the cabinets was not until February 25th - do the math on that one. Also, do not blame your customers for mistakes made from the person who measured, the person who designed, or the company defects that came with the cabinet doors. Make no mistake, you ONLY had to absorb the cost because this was the fault of the company even if those employees have been fired or if they quit before the project was completed. You did not provide me additional panels to complete the look around my kitchen island. Your designer that you fired as well as your previous PM both told me that I had purchased them, and were on the blueprints for install. Instead of being combative (which shows any perspective customers how you REALLY do business) you could have followed up with a more sympathetic response. I have the receipts, emails, texts, logs, pictures, industry insiders, blueprints etc to show any person that I 100% can stand behind my initial review of your company.*** Look elsewhere if you're considering this company for cabinets. If you want a completed kitchen project in less than 8 months, this isn't the place for you. If you're expecting dedicated staff who pay attention to detail, you won't find it here. If you're looking for a company that prioritizes your best interests, I'd advise moving on. The idea that a small kitchen should be measured properly and completed within a reasonable timeframe is simply not part of their approach. If you want your kitchen to be the heart of your home without exceeding timelines and budgets, avoid this business. The prices are some of the most inflated prices in the local area - You can find better prices, business ethics, and much more competent employees with other companies in Tucson. Over the course of 8 months, there were constant staff changes—people were fired, reassigned, many people quit and the new hire PM was completely unprepared and had zero clue what she was talking about. So my designer got fired, I went through 2 different construction managers, four installers and the incompetent PM. While the owner himself handled a portion of the cabinet installation and was detailed in his work, that's where the positives ended. To make matters worse, I was required to pay 90% of the cabinet price three months before they even began making the necessary repairs and replacements. After the holidays I was contacted to pay the remaining 10% because they are in need of money for the business and I told them that I wasn’t going to pay until the job was 100% complete. Also on the website it states “in business for 22 years.” This is very misleading because the owner has only had the company for 3 years with only the name of the company being around for 22 years. Who does business like that? This company—Southwest Kitchen & Bath— Is going to go out of business soon, and this business is one to avoid!!
