Snow's Garden Center

What a wonderful experience we had with Snows Garden Center and Patrick. He was so knowledgeable about all things plants, trees and what would fit well in our large space we have. He helped us choose the right materials for our project, had great advice on what plants will work well in that area and designed us a beautiful garden of flowers, ground cover and trees. We are totally happy with the whole process, the timeliness of their work and the great job Patrick and his team did at our home. We will definitely be working with Snows from here on out!. I would like to highly recommend that you contact Snow’s Garden Center, and in particular Zach Pittinger, for your landscaping needs. This recommendation is based on my experience with them in the fall of 2025. My steeply sloped property in Fluvanna County was in need of a dry creek bed to channel rain runoff away from the yard. Zach came out to look at the site and patiently listened as I described my vision of the 220’ swale to be dug and filled with river rock. It was an easy two-way conversation with Zach and he offered some well-thought out suggestions demonstrating his knowledge and experience. I received his detailed and itemized estimate via email in a week and I accepted it. He then connected me with the office staff for scheduling and deposit payment. Remarkably, work began within a month while accommodating my out of town schedule. Angel (the foreman) showed up and I described the project which he grasped immediately. He and his co-worker David went to work, with only occasional input from me, and completed the extensive work in 3 days or so. Zach also came out to check on the progress and to see if I was satisfied. I was extremely pleased with the quality, aesthetic judgement, work ethic and overall professionalism of this group. In view of this wonderful experience, I will be working with Snow’s, Zach and Angel for more of my landscaping projects.

Zach’s team from Snows was friendly and efficient. Zach makes sure to understand your preferences, happily and quickly responds to emailed questions, and is very well informed.He chose deer resistant native plants that produced successive blooms through spring. Drainage was a big concern and Zach carefully considered and implemented a plan using plants and natural looking stones. He stops by months later to check progress or inspect any concerns we have.
