Sir Visser Appliance Repair

My mom's 5 year old Kenmore Elite dryer started making a loud noise about two weeks ago. She struggled to find someone to come take a look at it. Wanting to help mom out, I reached out to Sir Visser and was advised that I should consider using their $49 Sir-Fix-A-Lot virtual diagnostic service as I might be able to resolve the problem with their guidance and without a service call. I heard that if we weren't able to solve the issue with a virtual consultation that I could pay the difference to have a technician come out and repair. I also heard that if after all of this the unit wasn't repairable or if it was going to be very costly to repair, I'd get half of my money back to replace the appliance with a new one (I haven't had any other service org provide this kind of safety in their cost pitch.) John (aka Sir Fix-A-Lot) sent me a virtual meeting invite and was present at the beginning of our meeting to guide me through the repair. He patiently explained to my mom where he needed the phone's camera to be positioned and guided me through the steps to take the lid off of the dryer, remove the door and front panel from the dryer, open the fan blower housing, and pull out the sock and dryer sheet that had been impeding the fan from operating properly. He then helped me put the dryer back together. We fired it up and SUCCESS - through John's help I had completed my first ever dryer repair. All I needed was a screwdriver, a flashlight, and some expert guidance from Sir Fix-A-Lot. Glad that this exists and seems like a good low price way to begin most potential appliance repairs.

Easy warranty repair. Shout outs to Reggie, John, and the Sir Visser scheduling folks! The electronics in my dishwasher died while still under warranty. I contacted the local installer company and they connected me with Sir Visser. We ran into some confusion with the dishwasher manufacturer's warranty department when it came to shipping replacement parts, but ultimately worked through it together. I appreciate the Sir Visser team's clear communication and professionalism throughout the whole process.
