The project wasn’t without some hiccups, but the finish product is stunning. The quartz countertops and backsplash are beautiful. Installers were great and very respectful of our house.

Absolutely the best experience with a company I have ever had! Every single person I spoke to or came in contact with was so nice and actually went out of their way to help and follow up with me after calling. I could not say enough good things about them!!
Dealing with set in stone is a total nightmare. They utilize predatory business practices to scam their customers and their products are poor quality and unfinished. This all began while looking for granite for our new build in 2021. We lived out of state and had to travel multiple times to select the granite for our home. We were met each time with grumpy front office staff, unwilling to help. Each time we felt as if we were an inconvenience. The granite (marble) that was installed in our home was poor quality from the beginning and was never sealed properly. We have had trouble with it from day one. This has led to “pitting” and an overall grimy appearance. Recently, I called to make an appointment with them to have our countertops resealed and to have a chip in the granite fixed. Again, having pleasant office staff that speak kindly to customers does NOT seem to be their forte. They are snarky and make comments such as “well, you know that’s something you can just do yourself” all while making you feel like you’re an inconvenience for even calling. Went ahead and made the appointment 3 weeks (yes, THREE weeks) in advance to have them come out. They notified me that they would require payment, in full, prior to the appointment date and would call back for payment. Who requires full payment for a service before it is provided? Major red flag. They call for payment a few days prior to the appointment, the day after thanksgiving. We are of course busy. I am unable to return their call until the following week. I was then notified, while I’m giving my card information, that the appointment had been cancelled because they did not receive payment earlier. Now this was 48 hours before the scheduled appointment. They never once mentioned there was a deadline, only that the payment had to be made prior. Their office manager could really use some customer service skills. Best of all, I requested to speak with the owners, at which time I was told they were not present, but would call me back. Obviously, I have yet to receive a call, as their office manager would probably be looking for a new job. Needless to say, they’ve lost my business and I will continue to spread the word. We called another countertop business in town the same day. They were here, at our home, 3 days later. They repaired the chip in the granite, charging us $75 dollars, and did a fantastic job. Set in stone was planning on charging me $500!! Before leaving, the guys even sealed our countertops- for free! Don’t do business with these people. The only thing "set in stone" here is the poor attitude. Consider yourself warned.
