Chris, Nick, Jheremy, Wander, and Keagan did an outstanding job with our remediation work in the basement after the furnace leak caused water and mold damage. They were timely, professional, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful during this stressful time, making the process much easier to manage.
I truly appreciate their assistance and support and will definitely use Servpro again in the future if needed.
The Servpro team from the Haverhill/Newburyport outlet were outstanding. Jason, Bobby, and Yeimi were complete professionals during the entire process. They explained exactly what they were doing and what to expect each step of the way. The project manager Chris visited our home each day to check in on the team for quality control. Most impressive and valuable part of the experience was how closely worked with the insurance company. We really felt they were ONE integrated team constantly in communication with each other. In the beginning we were very nervous about the project due to the large amount of water damage in the bathroom and garage ceiling. By the time the project was over, me and my wife could not be more happier about the outcome. The team and Chris did an outstanding job making us feel comfortable. I highly recommend this high functioning team.
Update 30 Sept: After sharing the second opinion and the photos, ServPro has been great about working with us to rectify the problem. I appreciate that they're standing by their work and taking steps to make things right. Restores my confidence about using their services in the future, should we need them (which is good, because like I said, their remediation work and inside reconstructions seems great).
Roofing work is leaking, causing water damage in drywall.
Had them out between two years and a year-and-a-half ago to do a dry out and remediation for some water damage and mold in an upstairs wall.
Did the rebuild work themselves, the inside drywall looks great (can't really comment on the studs and insulation inside the wall, but hopefully fine).
However, the roofing at a particular junction was done poorly and we are now getting water in every time rains.
Had a dedicated roofer out to look, and it seems step flashing was done incorrectly, there's a section of drip edge missing that was sloppily caulked over, shingles were not trimmed correctly, etc.
Disappointed that we paid for this reconstruction work and it was done in a way that's leaking, and that we're also now out money to have another roofer come and fix their work.
First photo is from January 2022, when they had the roof totally taken apart. Subsequent photos are from the past two weeks showing the increasingly large water stain we're getting every time it rains.
I have reached out to Servpro directly a few times, they did send a manager out who took a brief look and said it was "probably a one-off". Which is when I got the second opinion from a dedicated roofer.
I suppose the point of this overlong review is that they seem great for the immediate clean out and remediation, but don't let them refer the rebuild work internally to themselves. We did not realize at the time (wish we did), but our homeowners insurance partners with Servpro for the remediation, but with a different provider for the reconstruction work. I suppose this is why.
