SERVPRO of Black Hawk County

When our upstairs bathroom overflowed resulting in water pouring through the ceiling of our main level, Servpro stepped in immediately and handled all of it for us. They came to our house daily to check on the progress and worked with our insurance to make sure everything was fixed properly. They were diligent, thorough, and incredibly easy to work with through the entire process. The damage to our ceiling was completely fixed, and we can’t even tell there was an issue with the ceiling. It’s like it never happened! On a different issue, we had water damage in our main level bathroom. The floor, vanity, and toilet all had to be ripped up and drywall had to be replaced. Again, Servpro was so easy to work with, walking us through an overwhelming process and handling everything for us. Servepro has bailed us out so many times! I wouldn’t trust anyone as much as we trust them with our home!

These guys have been in my house literally today makes two weeks. They are a cleaning service. I had water damage and some more. When Ben walked in my house this morning he did not say a word. They started to gather their equipment as they were finished. I asked them was it dry down there, Ben said he would have to grab his meter and check. You think that would have been done before taking out all the drying equipment. Well he never checked. And they never cleaned and disinfected the laundry room as I was told they would by their boss Brett. They came in a tore my house up. Was here for literally 2 weeks and they left standing feces in my laundry room floor. I am and have not been happy with their service, but I am sure I will be charged an huge ordeal. They were rude when leaving. They were walking out without saying an even good bye or we are all done. Just nothing. They never kept me updated on the process it was like pulling teeth to get an update, they also cut down my ceiling in a closet without my permission. They said they got permission from my insurance adjuster. Well last I knew I am the o pay one who could make decisions like that for my house and paying for it now the insurance company. I make the decisions. I have called the office several times to speak to a manager and they are never available. Waiting on a call back currently. Serv pro handle came in and uprooted my life for the last 2 weeks and even though they tore my house up and just left. I am glad they are gone. Can’t wait to see this invoice!!! I am not the easy person to please, but this is my house I work everyday to pay for. And I expect professionalism and good results no matter what. I will pay the bill, but I will never use their service again. Update- Brett the manager called me being all pissy, because I told him to call the insurance people. He wanted to know about my deductible and I said that would be now of his business as long as they are getting paid. I will never deal with them again! And after sending my insurance the pics on how they left my place, they can deal with them cause that’s who is paying them.
