Over the last few years I have been both a buyer and a seller at Selkirk and the staff has always been professionial, knowledgeable, and pleasant to deal with. I also recommended them to friends who told me that they were pleased with with the results of items that they sold at auction. I would definitely use Selkirk again and will continue to recommend them.

My experiences with Selkirk for the past few years have only been excellent and much appreciated. Staff is kind and responsive, and I recommend this business which employs only trusted and capable auctioneers, appraisers and staff. I will be making future consignments with SELKIRK on a regular basis with much gratitude, and the continued expectation for great professional work and service, on both our parts. RW MFA

Unfortunately this is a shell of the business my family founded in 1830. I was 7th generation in the business but we sold when my dad got ill in 1998 and passed away. Since then has been a rollercoaster of nightmare thieves and charlatans that have owned the business after we sold to LVMH. Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy. We have given up spending money to defend our legal rights. Buyer beware. Seller Beware.
