I rarely ever leave reviews but, Sams has changed. I have been bringing vehicles here for 6 years and this place used to offer top notch service. I don’t feel as though they are operating at the same quality as they have prior. I brought our family vehicle in to have a fair amount of work done including a gas tank replacement, oil pan replacement, brakes and rotors, and an alignment. The only service performed was brake pads and resurfacing the rotors. They inspected all of the other very obvious problems and insured me there wasn’t anything wrong. Wasted 3 days of my time just for me to leave with a gas tank and oil pan that still leak. Also, apparently they don’t offer alignments on my vehicle any longer. Which would be fine if they told me from the start instead of on the 3rd day after calling me several times to “make sure” I wanted an alignment and I had to persistently keep on them about the other issues which they still never addressed. Overall, Sams has lost a customer.

We've gone here before and had great service. Not this time. I guess they are going through some kind of transition. They have major communication and training issues internally. We never got a straight answer or estimate. When we decided to pull out and go with another shop we trusted, they told us that our battery was dead and after charging the starter wouldn't work. Thank goodness for AAA, they towed our Suburban 50 miles to another shop who told us that the starter is fine. We will never go there again. There is more to the story but I won't bore you with the details.

My car suddenly overheated. I was able to limp my way to Sam's. I knew it was late in the day, and the issue was probaly really bad. Les was very helpful, and had someone look at it shortly after I arrived. The issue was discovered, and Les explained to me, in language a non-mechanic would understand. Unfortunately they were not able to fix the issue at that time, and I was a long way from home. I did end up having my car towed to the dealer for a warranty fix. Overall, it was great service, nice people from the front desk to the mechanics, and very helpful. If I lived closer, I would visit them for my automotive needs!
