Rutland Stove and Fireplace Company

I tried to call and schedule a service for my stove since I was told they sell this brand stove. Since he had no record of it being purchased there he didn't want my business and was rude on the phone. If you want help don't call them. After review they called back and explained they are too busy to service things not sold through the store. But happily made everything right and scheduled a service. So 4 stars since I had to go this route but simple communication would've gone a long ways. Will update once stove is working.

We had an excellent experience with Tom at Rutland Stove & Fireplace in Rutland, Vermont. From start to finish, he was knowledgeable and helpful in converting our fireplaces to gas burners with beautiful birch logs. He was great to work with, his expertise made the whole process seamless, and we couldn't be happier with the result.

It was easy to work with Rutland Stove and Fireplace. I was referred to them by the HEAT Squad EPA stove program. They warned me when I started the process that there were a lot of people participating in the program so it could be a couple months before they got to installing my stove. A month earlier than quoted I had my stove installed. The stove arrived damaged but usable. When the repair parts arrived they let me know and quickly fixed the damage. Great working with everyone there. Helped us find the right pellet stove to get ordered quickly before the cold came. We went with the Quadrafire outfitter II, really great and user friendly stove, puts out some HEAT and it’s easy to clean, it will be a welcomed change from our old one. The staff are all down to earth and nice people, everyone was really straight forward and quick to answer your questions, and kept in touch with us when things came in. People that give their full attention to you even with a small purchase. They are patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. The floor models, showroom and outdoor display are stunning.
