I want to start off by saying that the price is very affordable for the services they provide. Initially, I called for a quote on having the right joystick on my PlayStation 5 controller replaced as I was having pretty bad issues with stick drift and they quoted me a price of $40 for a simple repair, however, they then offered to do a more “permanent” fix for $50. I opted for the $50 option so they could convert my entire controller with the TMR sensor upgrade. They said they would have the work done within 1-3 days, but finished that same day, which was surprisingly nice. My only complaint was that when I came to pick it up, The L1 button was missing, I asked the guy at the front, what was up with the missing button & they seemed to have made an honest mistake & put it on within a minute of me asking about it. Nonetheless, that is an issue that if I didn’t catch, I would’ve went home and noticed too late. Additionally, as the picture I tagged in this review clearly shows, the remote still looks dusty and a bit dirty from the years of use that I have put on it, while this is not necessarily on them to do, I would’ve appreciated it if they had at least given it a basic cleaning. I know that’s a bit extra, but those little details is what makes small electronic repair shops stand out. Other than that, the store looked really unorganized behind the desk as the other photo I tagged shows, but as I’ve said in the very beginning, the prices are very affordable, and that is what I feel gives this business a leg up compared to it’s competitors. Overall, if you’re looking to upgrade or fix your gaming console, controller or other gaming equipment at an affordable price, roosters is a decent place to check out, in my opinion.
