RM Auto Care

I had an excellent experience at RM Auto Care Services for my oil change. The service was fast, reliable, and very professional from start to finish. I want to thank Mike, the owner, for running such a well-organized shop, and Caine, the supervisor, for his attention to detail and friendly attitude. I also appreciate the gentleman who gave me a ride while my car was being serviced such a thoughtful touch that made the whole experience even better. We took our vehicles to a local shop at 200 Putnam Pike, Johnston, RI .We spent in 2024 8000.00 on issues and normal wear and tear. One of our vehicles had and engine light on with a code that had multiple reasons what it could be it stated the ABS system has an issue and the brakes were all messed up. So we took the vehicle back to that auto repair they had it for two days and stated it was a fuel performance chip we had in the USB port which was bologna. They said you need to take it to a dealership and have them replace the ABS Modulator Valve. At this point we were frustrated with this shop after we have received bad information from them before and the problem still existed after we paid thousands. We found R&M auto I called spoke to caine who was nothing but polite and stated we have the tech computers and will figure it out. I made an appointment and dropped off the vehicle. That same day caine called me and said your all set I'm like what? He said your left rear wheel bearing that we had the other shop install along with the wire that goes to it. We also told the other shop to please check this wheel bearing the week before they said the did. Caine at R&M said the wheel bearing had allot of gunk build up on the back side of it and it was throwing codes. We cleaned it out diagnosis it again and no more codes while we were talking caine stated the vehicle brake rotors were shot. Again something we asked the other shop to check and paid for it they said no problems. So we had R&M install new front brakes the following week we had them install the rear. The brakes worked better than a new vehicle. Since then R&M has fixed everything that the other shop was paid to do or diagnose or replace and were wrong each time but yet we paid. I can't thank R&M Auto enough they have the best team available for any and all your vehicle problems..I recommend them whole heartly. Stay away from the other shop located at 200 Putnam Pike, Johnston, RI.
