Worst meal in a long time. Petite filet was so old it was disgusting. It tasted like old rotten meat. Broccoli was greasy and limp. Prime rib was priced as a special which was a good thing because it was tough and a bit thin. Au Jus was tasteless. We told the waitress about the bad steak and said we wanted to leave. She didn’t offer to comp part of our meal - and she probably didn’t even tell anyone about the rotten meat. Will never return. Ever.

River Edge made a beautiful wedding destination. The rooms were nice and easy for my guest to check in to. Tom, Kindra, and their team made it easy for the day to go smoothly with the best service and planning process. All of their hard work and dedication made my wedding run perfectly. The food was amazing and exactly what we were picturing for our big day. We had a pasta bar and it was beyond excellent. I would 1000% recommend them for catering any event and for being your wedding venue.

Hidden Gem! But if you're a light sleeper you may be bothered by the noise from the trains and semi brakes. Pros: The room was very clean and cute! River view and back door of room has an outside area with table and chairs to relax and watch the river and trains go by. Very tranquil. The beds were nice and comfortable. Everything in the room worked, T.V, refrigerator, A/C, plumbing. The price of the room was worth the value. The restaurant is the real hidden gem, great service and food, options for everyone. There is a back patio that looks over the river, can't beat the views. Cons: The resort is right off the highway and across the river from the train track so it is inevitably noisy. Jake breaks and train horns day and night. I thought it was going to keep me up all night but I actually had a great night sleep once I fell asleep. Husband was up and said the noise was going all night but not constantly. Overall I highly recommend stopping by at least for the food, and the lodging beats the local motels any day even with the noise. The place feels very family friendly and safe.
