To expensive and tbh look it up modern cars take synthetic oil which has a life span of 7500 to 10000
The 5000 rule is made for under the 90s model the turbo equipped vehicle take more capacity in oil and if you turbo is burning Hella oil means the turbines are increasing way to much heat which revolves around to much friction so that is the reason to take your car up there you will chance you car bogging running like crap when it goes out
They keep the 5000 mile rule to make you go up there and spend money constantly I have 2 vehicle run fine on 7500 to 10000 oil changes because I had em for years with no engine problem waste of money
I had an excellent experience at Rapid Oil Change in Clinton, MS! Demickel (apologies if I spelled your name incorrectly) provided outstanding customer service. He was thorough, professional, and took the time to explain everything clearly. What stood out the most is that he went above and beyond, adding extra touches of service that other companies don’t usually offer. I left feeling confident in the work that was done and truly appreciated the friendly, informative approach. I highly recommend this location and will definitely be returning!
I have been using this place for years, but today was my last day. They supposed to check tire pressure, windshield wipers, windshield fluid , cabin filter & change oil. They only changed my oil. I had to ask for other services but watched them provide all these services to the car before me. The staffed talked loud and joked about how I better pay for my cabin filter to be change because of the process they had to take to get to the filter. The worker even stopped in the middle of the process to go talk to someone in a car in the back parking lot. I find the whole service unprofessional and rude.
Here to report a breakdown in communication due to a coupon. May seem meaningless to some but the only reason I started using this location due to a coupon mailer two years ago. No complaints about the mechanics and technicians working there. I was told three months ago at my last oil change that to use the coupon on the website you must print it off and bring it in. I was following the instructions given went to the website to print the coupon. The coupon was expired as of December 31st 2024. I Called ahead to inquired about the coupon on line being expired. I was told by the manager who answered the phone that the coupon was indeed expired. He stated alternatively the Clinton Courier has a coupon in it. I checked the Clinton Courier website and this location carriers the paper! Two birds one stone I thought. Once I pull in give the mechanic my information, I head inside to get the paper and present the coupon. The same manager that I spoke to is managing the register and informs me that the coupon did not apply to my oil change because they gave me a different oil than the coupon was for. This is a break down in communication. If the coupon needs to be presented once you pull up and speak to a technician please inform customer’s prior to coming in, or have the technician ask what type of oil they prefer.
I was a VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER UNTIL YESTERDAY!! I have been coming to this location a little over a year now and until yesterday I was very happy with the service that I was provided. I was greeted as normal by the normal two young ladies (forgive me I don’t know their names) that worked there as one of them removed my the sticker from my window as she confirmed that I was there for an oil change. I replied, “yes”. She come back and placed a clip board on the outside of my window shield with that entailed my normal work order for a Castrol Edge FULLY Synthetic Oil Change, valued at $86. (I’m not a mechanic but I do know how to change oil and I am very particular about my car maintenance and the brands that I use). So I pull into Bay 2 and popped the hood of my car. Since I pay for a Castrol Edge FULLY SYNTHETIC OIL CHANGE, the tech normally has to go to the back and fill up a funnel with 5 qts of that particular oil from a large container, so I found it odd when yesterday’s tech came back 5 white bottles. He completed the oil change and exited my vehicle to go pay. After paying for my services something kept telling me to look in the trash to check the bottles that he used and as I suspected the tech used a CHEAPER and LOWWER GRADE SYNTHETIC BLEND of oil. Anybody that knows the basics about car maintenance knows the difference between a synthetic blend and fully synthetic oil. I turned around and went back to the counter to inform the young lady that the tech had used the wrong oil in my car and handed her the bottle. She asked who performed my services and proceeded to take the bottle over to him to confirm what I was saying. They were too far away for me to hear what they said but young lady returned to me and said, “That the tech got confused and that they we are out of the normal oil that I get”. I replied, “If you didn’t have the oil that I’m paying for, then don’t you think you should have told me that before touching my vehicle?” After our exchange she went to check to see what inventory she had and return with Mobil 1 Fully Synthetic oil saying this was the closest substitute that they had on hand. Now had they asked me this before all this happened I may have considered it but since they didn’t I wasn’t going to accept anything but what I paid for. Now to this young lady’s credit she did go across the street to Walmart and bought the oil that I should have gotten in the first place, but the tech that improperly performed my service never did come apologize which really rubs me the wrong way. I probably will be looking for a new place to have my oil changed, which sucks for me since up to this point I enjoyed my service there, but the ball was dropped in too many places such as providing the wrong product/service, not confirming what was on the work order, and lack of communication.
