Proficient Patios & Backyard Designs™

So the entire project took around 6 months for our small backyard here in the new Cadence area of Henderson. There was alot of flaws and disappointment but also alot of surprised moments as well. I feel the most disappointing was the lack of communication we experienced from the office side of things. In the beginning when we went to the showroom to discuss what our desires were we felt heard and valued as customers but that changed once we agreed and signed our contract. My best advise is to make sure you express exactly and be specific and before signing anything you go over your contract throughly and don't leave out any details, questions, or any confusion. I want to mention on a positive we worked with Antonio and his brother Alberto pretty much on a daily basis and they were amazing. They worked so hard and gave 100% and more every single day to make sure we were happy and satisfied with every aspect of the construction process. Those two workers are a huge asset to the company and I can not stress enough their value. We had alot of mixed feelings and is the reason I waited a bit before doing this survey but in the end for the most part we are happy with the end result. Thank you Antonio, Alberto, and Jesse for your patience and understanding and for always going above and beyond in customer service... you are the reason for our ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lou and Dee 😊

I cannot say enough good things and thank the entire Proficient Patios team For how amazing the backyard turned out. To think that it started with just dirt to this oasis is beyond my wildest dreams. It all started with Nena in the showroom with her world, class, hospitality, and then Matt who not only got my vision, but he made it 10 times more than I could’ve dreamed of. His attention to details in his design and his ability to visualize a vision is such a unique skill set. Then Jess and Ana at the office were just the most wonderful people to work with to get the project going. Finally, German, Salvador and Ruben are the three heroes who worked hard every day (including holidays) to put it out in place. I saw firsthand how they worked with their own bare hands every single day to make this a reality, and they are the most honest and professional crew I have ever worked with. As I am also a real estate investor, I will definitely call the Proficient team anytime I need landscaping done.

Concrete person was excellent, build out on BBQ islands very professional always checked level, plum and square, stucco person was good, grills are nice but not made for ADA installation-they were too deep at 9.5 inches not allowing for full ADA (wheelchair) access under the grill. Workers only had a CAD drawing to work off of, no blueprints with precise measurements for gas & electrical lines-the lines for the ADA portion were about 4 inches off causing a bump out at the edge of the patio. Tile installers were very good. Never finished touch ups, still have white bracket on patio posts was supposed to paint to match color and fix scrape on north corner and color match caulk (used white). Patio cover installer was horrible, 45 degree cuts on corner should not have been made and they were made too short and he forced the pieces together. The solution was to move one of the posts nearly 3 inches causing the posts and patio cover to be out of plumb and square. The correct fix would have been to reinstall the outer boards correctly. Communication with workers and sub-contractors could have been better, they came out with little or no knowledge on what to do. Made all changes that were required by the VA.
