Premier Floors

We had an outstanding experience with Premier Floors. After we demolished an old closet and built a new one, we were left with two large holes in our hardwood floor that we were honestly worried would never look right again. Premier Floors repaired them so seamlessly that you would never know the floor had been touched. The craftsmanship is remarkable. They also refinished the entire bedroom floor, and the transformation is stunning. The room looks brand new, and the finish is smooth, rich, and beautifully consistent. From start to finish, the team was professional, detail-oriented, and clearly proud of their work. We are so impressed with the results that we already know we will be having them back to refinish the rest of our rooms. Highly recommend Premier Floors for anyone who wants flawless work and true attention to detail.

I had an overall negative experience with Premier Floors. The new oak floors they installed look nice now that the work is done, save for some spots and I believe the stain should have been water popped to make it deeper (not presented as an option). The issues I had were communication from the company during the work as well as rushing and a lack of attention to detail. Their needs from me were often not communicated until the last minute, which resulted in me having to call out of work to go attend to their requests multiple times in two weeks. This also meant I had to make quick decisions about things like the stain choice - 10 minutes after the stain samples were put down, I was called and asked to make a decision, when they were supposed to have been put down the night before. Everything was rushed. Marks/dents on the walls and baseboards. Areas were not sectioned off properly with plastic and so every surface was coated with sawdust. The oven and dishwasher were placed outside, uncovered overnight and were rained on. I wasn't able to communicate with the crews directly and there was no onsite foreman during the work, so any issues I noticed had to be another phone call or email. Overall I didn't feel my project was a priority for the company. Pamela and René told me on 2 separate instances that they had 5 other jobs that week as a response to me asking for better communication from them. I don't think it is fair to blame a client for overbooking. Whenever these communication concerns were brought up, the boss René was argumentative rather than accommodating, which made the process stressful for me as a client. Likely that the review will be approached in the same way. I would not work with this company again. EDIT 10/27/25: I recieved your review response. Unfortunately many of the clarifications you made are not true. I have photos from the process. 1. The stain options you gave me 15 minutes to decide on did not include water popped options as evidenced by the labeled photos I took. 2. I have photos from the sanding process which show that the basement staircase, bathroom and kitchen cabinets were not fully sealed off with plastic. Large gaps in plastic allowed dust to coat all surfaces. 3. You did not wrap our appliances with plastic when you placed them outside during bad weather. My husband and I did. 4. Attached is a screenshot of the receipt section where I paid for the kitchen baseboards. This was not a service performed "at no additonal cost". A response like this was expected. I'd appreciate the company being willing to own up to not doing its best on our small job. It was clear to us that you had more important jobs those weeks.

Premier Floors provided a great professional service refinishing my hardwood floors in family room, kitchen, hallway and powder room. First I received a great explanation of work and my options during the estimate visit by Rene. Then Marcela answered my questions on the phone and followed up with emails after I signed the contract. The crew of 2 people who came to do the work were very professional and went above and beyond to make sure the work area was separated by plastic, so the rest of the house was clean from dust. They even covered all surfaces and pictures on the wall that we left. Te crew did a great quality job! They answered all our questions about the work they were doing, spent time with us assisting in selecting the new color to make sure we were happy with our selection. At the end they made sure we had no additional questions. We have a large dog, so they even put some new plastic in place, so our dog cannot walk on the finished floors until they are fully dry. Their price was very competitive. They came recommended by a family member for whom they did the same work a few months before, and I am NOT disappointed I hired them. They are the first on my list for any future hardwood related work. Great job, Premier Floors!

We needed to add some wood flooring to our dining room to match the 60 year old wood floors in the rest of the house — and we needed to get it done quickly in order to get our house on the market for sale. Premier Floors was recommended by my realtor and several neighbors and they didn't disappoint. They were more expensive than the other contractor it was well worth it. They were very professional, well-organized, and did a truly beautiful job. I also appreciated that they called me in to approve the color match and explain the challenges as they worked. It is a family-owned business and talking directly with, Marcela, one of the owners also gave me confidence that they would do a good job. When I had a question on the invoice, responded quickly and made an adjustment. I would highly recommend Premier and would use them again.
