Pilot Travel Center

There was a lady whose name tag said Debbie who was yelling at customers in the store for trying on hoodies. After days of dealing with the stress of traveling, I was hoping for a pleasant experience like I’ve had with every other pilot I’ve been to, but this pilot was not peaceful. That lady was very mean about something so small. She wasn’t even just raising her voice, she was full blown yelling and I think she called the cops. I watched the entire thing and those people simply tried on a hoodie to see if it fit and took it right back off and even folded it before placing it back on the shelf. The way Debbie acted was very inappropriate and uncalled for, and I will never be returning to this location unless she is no longer working there, an I’ll make sure to advice my friends and family to not stop at this pilot. It could use a huge clean up as well and it looks like the workers aren’t doing their duties when it comes to store cleanliness. Thanks for ruining my trip.

Do not go here. Literally the worst truck stop I’ve ever been to. Bathrooms are disgusting, there were roaches on the floor, and I found a MAGGOT in my hotdog!!!!! I am so disgusted and I advise you to just KEEP DRIVING!!!!! Also want to point out that an old woman who works there named DEBBIE, who wears glasses and has grey hair, after purchasing 2 hoodies for $40 from here, I was considering buying two more and wanted to see if it fit first so I quickly tried it on and took it back off and she YELLED from across the store that we can’t try it on before buying and IMMEDIATELY dialed the theft prevention line FOR TRYING ON A HOODIE!!!!!! $40 for 2 hoodies and i can’t even try it on before buying?? What a SCAM!!!!! And there wasn’t a single sign that said you can’t try them on and she didn’t say a word about it before she started yelling at us from across the store and accusing us of stealing. This lady is rude and very unprofessional. Her entire demeanor was off putting, I didn’t even feel comfortable bringing my child in to use the restroom because of this woman’s attitude and aggressive tone, my child was terrified. So if you’re considering stopping here for gas, don’t. It’s not worth it. I will be complaining to corporate.
