Phone Repair Tech

My Samung S24 was damaged when I dropped it. The battery would no longer charge and the microphone stopped working. It was only 18 months old and I was afraid I'd have to replace it. Thanks to the expertise of the tech at Phone Repair Tech, my phone was fixed and is working well. They were knowledgeable and could provide same day service which was great because I was expecting important calls. They were also reasonable. I would recommend them for phone repairs.

**Updated*Post* My apologies for the delay. I returned to the shop the next day, before reading the owner's comment actually. I learned that my SIM card and charging port are on the same circuit board. He replaced the part, then verified the phone would work properly before I left the store, at no additional charge. I have not had any charging or SIM card issues since. I appreciate the owner taking the time out to make sure all was fully operational before I left. He also allowed me to pick his brain a little about android versus iPhone. I appreciate the time taken when he didn't have to. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- **Initial Post** As I am writing this, I am quite upset. I took my phone to this shop today, Jan. 5th, to address my SIM card not registering. The gentleman, who was very nice, assured me he could fix the issue, which he did. Just moments ago, around 9:30 PM, my cell phone battery indicated it need to be charged. So, naturally, I plugged it up to charge. Less than a minute after connecting my phone to the charger, my phone alerted me to charge my battery. Mind you, my phone is still plugged up to charge. A bit puzzled, I unplugged my charger and plugged it back into my phone. It showed charging, and then less than a minute later the same thing happens again. Please keep in my mind that my initial issue was my SIM card, never anything with charging. I unplugged and replugged my phone several times and the same thing happened. I paid $64 to have my phone operational for less than five hours. While I am not explicitly saying an issue was created while solving another, I am saying I never had an issue with my phone charging until after taking it to this shop to address the SIM card issue. I hate feeling like I have been taken advantage of, and that may not be the case here, but right now it certainly feels like it. I will return to the shop tomorrow as soon as I can to address the new issue, and I will update this review.
