I reached out to Parker Solutions for handyman services after seeing Ernest’s post advertising work in the Elko area. Unfortunately, my experience was frustrating and disappointing. We scheduled appointments on four separate evenings, yet each time, he failed to show up, citing various excuses. On the fourth attempt, he finally admitted that it was difficult for him to leave work because he actually lives 35 minutes away. If providing services in Elko is challenging due to distance, it raises the question—why advertise availability here? Reliability is key when hiring a handyman, and unfortunately, that was not my experience with Parker Solutions. Based on my interactions, I do not recommend this service.

We called them to install our pellet pipe thru our roof, they came did measurements and said they would have it back to us. Dave did say they might want to convert to 4” at the top which we was good with. So called them this morning and they told me they wouldn’t even do an estimate because they don’t deal in 3” pipe. Common courtesy of a phone call or something. It’s amazing they don’t deal with 3” pipe but all pellet stoves come in 3”. Heard good things about them but how they just handled me is uncalled for. Simple courtesy call would have been nice and little do they know if they had spoken up we would have converted to 4” all they said was they wouldn’t give us an estimate

My experience with Parker Solutions LLC was a mixed bag. The staff is friendly and they eventually got the job done. However, it took multiple phone calls, several trips to the office, and overall a lot of “babysitting”, for lack of a better word, to ensure that they got the work done by the date that we had initially scheduled. This, I’m sure, is a product of them being very busy, but I was assured of their ability to complete the work on time, and it shouldn’t take a thorn in your side to do what you said you would. The work they provided seemed to be of good quality, but I was billed for far more than I was told the work would cost when I went to their office. There was no communication of cost increases at any point along the way and it seems that I was billed for several trips to the property after their initial assessment. This indicates to me that they bill their customers for their own inefficiencies. I would be hesitant to recommend their services to anybody at this point.
