Otto was awesome to work with. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience easy. Best repair pricing around. He fixed my silver piece while I waited and had it cleaned and polished so it looked brand new. You can tell he really cares about his work and customers. Definitely going to be my go to place for jewelry repairs from now on.
The guy was friendly... as per the reviews I went here. My advice is Make sure you dont get taken advantage of. Should you decide to to do business here. I certainly do not recommend.
This is the BEST jewelry shop in the city. They're friendly, helpful, and skilled at jewelry repair. I've had more than a few pieces repaired by them and you can't even tell that any of my jewelry had gotten broken in the first place. Their prices are extremely reasonable and I HIGHLY recommend Onix.
Onix is the hidden gem in the Anderson Shopping Center. I wish I'd known about them sooner! They have the most beautiful, unique jewelry in their display cases! The main reason I needed to go in was a pair of earrings that I own: I couldn't read the purity mark on them with my failing vision. I felt like I was going to be a waste of time, but the gentleman behind the counter did not make me feel that way at all. He was so kind! He read the stamp for me without hesitation. I had also brought in a ring that meant a great deal to me. The stone had come out, and I hadn't been able to wear it in years. He took my ring and fixed it in less than 5 minutes, and hardly charged me anything. I am so glad I found Onix, and I recommend them to you without any reservations! This place stands out and shines.
UPDATED! Since I reviewed this shop, I've been back at least a dozen times. Tony has repaired my mother's gold & diamond wedding band, which I had given up on repairing because of the expense vs value of the ring. He has resized three rings for me, is currently transforming my grandmother's filigree diamond brooch into a pendant, AND re-shaping the prongs and shaft of a garnet ring that I bought somewhere else. How much did all this work cost? A few hundred? Not a penny. Tony is always happy to help. No pawn shop can compare. You can find any gem in any cut and a beautiful selection of vintage and modern high-end jewelry. I've added all new photos, including one STUNNER of a ring that hypnotizes me every time I go in: a huge, trillion cut alexandrite with diamond halo. For the love of God, someone buy this as an engagement ring. No woman could say no. In exchange for the stellar customer experience they provide, they've earned my loyalty, trust, and continued business. ✨️ Psssst: It helps if you speak a little Spanish Tony's nephew speaks English and is there on Mondays. Here's my original review: If you're looking for quality gems and jewelry including engagement rings, don't go anywhere else! This place is family run, the prices are astonishing, and the people are lovely. Highly recommend!!!
