Was warned about coming here. I went and was charged for a new filter and oil change. Never got a new filter. They are ridiculous. Owner of oil n go, I have receipts, my name , price , and location. If you’d like I will be more than happy to show you those. I lived five minutes from the Essex location. My oil change was in my name under my account at the Essex location.
*Edit for the owner: Again, I am disappointed with your diagnostic capabilities. I don't know why you cannot find my account as I have several receipts from your garage the past year or so. Also when you overfill an engine...it will cause leaks. Just very disappointed. I used to be a loyal customer and thought the guys were honest, until now. I came in for a routine oil change and I was told I have a transmission leak. I asked if they were sure about that (did it look like transmission fluid) and was again told it was, and sent on my way. They didn't note any leak on my paperwork. I investigated further and found they overfilled my oil and I have an oil leak now. I no longer have trust in their communication or diagnostic abilities and for that reason, I will not be back.
Went in for an oil change on my Audi, knowing it takes synthetic oil (7.5). I was told the oil change would be $165, but then the employee mentioned they had forgotten to charge me for the filter—adding another $42. My total ended up being $207 for a simple oil change. That’s excessive and unprofessional. Definitely won’t be returning here.
Friendly, worked fast, clean waiting area, the in & out was not worth the cheaper price! I've been told a 2020 car is recommended synthetic oil....that all mine has ever had! Until today with them. They never even asked me I would have paid more for it. Sorry, first time here may not return now because im recommended to remove yours when I am able. Thanks but NO THANKS! Un happy.
The good, is the polite and speedy service. Even when busy they were efficient in getting me in and out for an oil change. They had enough staff working. I got charged for an extra quart of oil, which I've come to expect because it's needed. The unfortunate is the advertised Basic Service for $54.99 is never what you will pay for a basic oil change at most of these quick change places. I told them twice, I wanted just the basic service. Everything basic. I was charged $12 for premium oil and $17.99 for a premium oil filter. Without being told, after I said basic. So I paid, 54% more than than the advertised price. Go here for fast and good service, which I'm fine paying extra for the convenience, but don't expect to pay basic price.
