Extremely accommodating and professional. Just passing through, they Got us in the same day as soon as we called to take a look at a squeaking pulley. Isaiah was clear and helpful. Work was done the same day and they got us back on the road as soon as possible. Even gave a veterans discount. Very reasonably priced. Honest shop. Thank you so much for all of your help!! Would 10/10 recommend.
My truck was having some issues, so I decided to take it to NEFFS Diesel Repair. They had worked on my buddy’s truck, which wasn’t even running at the time, and got it running absolutely amazing. They did a fantastic job on his, so I figured I’d give them a shot.
My truck was dealing with excessive fuel return issues, and with me working 70+ hours a week, I just don’t have the time to mess with it myself. I brought it in, paid the diagnostic fee, and I’ll tell you—what a breath of fresh air. They actually diagnosed the issue the right way, not just guessing or throwing parts at it. Yes, you pay for that kind of service, but it’s worth it. Throwing parts at a problem costs way more in the long run.
It ended up needing an exhaust manifold, new gaskets, a fuel pressure relief valve, and a few other things. They did a full inspection and found issues I didn’t even know about. I declined a couple repairs because I can knock those out myself when I have the time. They were honest about what needed to be done immediately and what could wait—and that’s what we went with.
Is it a premium-rate shop? In my opinion, yes. But remember: cheap work isn’t always good, and good work isn’t cheap. People are going to have their opinions, but based on my experience, I was thoroughly impressed. Two things stood out the most: their attention to detail and the level of communication—probably the best I’ve seen from any shop I’ve ever dealt with.
Neff’s did an amazing job with my truck. They provide a diagnostic that’s really thorough, also includes pictures with a full layout of costs. Michaelene was super patient with me. They even let me borrow a loaner truck at no cost while my truck got repaired. I can’t say enough good things about them. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone needing work done on their diesel. 5 stars no brainer.
I took the truck in to figure whats wrong with it. $1,500 later and not fixed or knew what the problem was. Even after getting charged a $300 diagnostic fee. Seems they just starting throwing parts at it in hopes it would be something. Told them to put the truck back together and I'll tow it home to fix it. Was told the truck needed the intake back on and battery cables put back on and it'll run and drive up on the trailer. Come to find out all intercooler piping was off and nothing was put back together whatsoever. Tried starting it and nothing. Found out after 5 minutes of trying to start it, the pcm was unplugged. Never was told that. Plugged it back in and still no luck. Also it now dumps fuel everywhere when trying to start. Had to go to harbor freight to buy some come alongs to get it on the trailer. I drove this truck into this shop and I got it back in worse condition with more problems. Drive in, tow out!
