Mr. Appliance of Northern Virginia

This is the second time we used this business and will be our last! The "tech" completely misdiagnosed the problem with our Bosch dishwasher claiming that the entire motor needed to be replaced because the seal around it was leaking. Had I listened to him, it would've been $600+ wasted because the actual problem was just a $30 fix with replacing a cracked ring on the heater. Had he just done some basic research online, he would've seen this very common problem. I'm not happy I lost time and the diagnostic fee. Such incompetence and laziness is just unacceptable and shameful.

I tried Mr. Appliance for the first time for my LG refrigerator. Many companies have stopped servicing LG refrigerators, so I was happy to find Mr.Appliance. Sammy came within a week of my call, right on time, and diagnosed the problem, showing me the technical schematics on his iPad to explain the diagnosis and the parts that were needed. The problem was unusual: every few hours when no one was using the fridge, the water dispenser would activate on its own and put 4 to 6 ounces of water out, which mostly fell on the floor. We agreed on ordering the parts, which were most of the cost of the repair. When the parts had arrived at my house, I called for an appointment and Sammy returned 2 days later. He swiftly installed the parts and completed the repair. Sammy was very knowledgeable about many brands of refrigerators, and about how different manufacturers parts are made, stocked, and updated, and about the reliability of different brands. He was interesting to talk to during the repair. The repair was expensive because the parts were expensive, but it probably added another seven years of life to my 8 year old refrigerator, for a quarter of the new price. I would definitely call Mr. Appliance again.
