Updated Review! Two days ago I hired Mr. Appliance (aka neighborly) to come take a look at why my dishwasher wasn't draining. The tech arrived yesterday within the time window and was very nice!! Unfortunately I could quickly tell that he was not a plumber and was limited in what he could/would do. He took a few photos and looked at his IPAD for a very long time. Then after the photos and looking at the IPAD he quoted me parts and labor of $400+ when the (adding OEM) part costs between $25 to $35 and the whole appliance is about $500. Nice company and cute uniforms, but the service was him looking at an IPAD. I was hoping he would pull the appliance out and check filters and hoses to confirm there wasn't a block somewhere or that the hose feeding back into the garbage disposal wasn't blocked. Lastly, I thought the fee was $119, but ended up paying $130.60. I'll stick with Youtube and ChatGPT next time. Would not recommend. I'm giving two starts for quick scheduling and tech was nice. Update: After tech left I decided to check the garbage disposal line into the dishwasher last night. My back was hurting which is why I hired this company, but I crawled on the floor and did it anyways. Sure enough there was a huge clog in the hose that feeds into the dishwasher. If I were to compare this to a tire service he quoted me four new tires instead of a small patch. I unclogged the hose and the dishwasher works fine now. I did previously have an error code of I30, which according to the manual is the "Aqua control sensor", but that was because the clog was slowly leaking into the bottom pan and tripping the sensor. That just took me flipping the breaker and cleaning up the water with a towel while tilting the machine back. FYI - Water gushes everywhere when you fix a hose clog. This kid should have quoted me a line clean out. No Drain pump was needed!!! Photos include clogged line and bucket used to get disposal cleaned and hose cleaned out. I would have easily paid $200 for this service.
