I called M&M Appliances on 9/30/2025 to service my Maytag washer, clearly stating that the machine was violently shaking and would not complete the spin cycle. The technician arrived 2 hours late. He diagnosed the issue, left to get a part, and returned to install it. I paid for the service in full, and he assured me he would immediately remedy the issue if it persisted. Upon running my first load of laundry, the original problem returned immediately. When I called the next morning, the technician admitted he had "forgot about the 2nd part of the problem" and then demanded an additional fee of $125−$145 just to return and assess if more parts were needed. I paid for a full repair of the clearly stated issue. This company did not fix the problem, their technician admitted to a mistake, and they are now trying to charge a second service fee to fix their own failure under what should be a guarantee. This is unacceptable and feels like a scam. I cannot recommend M&M Appliances for repair service. 2nd Visit fixed all issue with washer

I love supporting local small businesses! The reviews were decent so we decided to give them a try. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone was very kind so I felt that it was a good choice. We paid $185 for them to not even replace or repair any parts in a washing machine. They said a part was installed incorrectly so they said they put it in correctly and that would fix the issue. We got the washing machine home and discovered it was still not fixed. I called twice, finally got a call back later the second day I called... He requested I send the model of the washing machine and he would send me an estimate to have the parts replaced and said he wouldn't charge any more labor fees. I sent the model and never heard back. We have 3 young (messy and active😅) children and my husband works commercial construction and is a firefighter. We needed our washing machine repaired. Even a couple days going without, the piles of laundry grow rapidly. Not fun. It never got fixed and a lot of money was wasted in the mean time. Hopefully this was just a one off bad experience and their business doesn't make it a practice to take almost 200 bucks, repair nothing and not even try to rectify the issue. Be cautious!
