Leif Vopnford came out in August of 2024 when we had a storm in Fremont. He found some damage on our house and McKinnis helped us through the insurance red tape to get the damage fixed. Before we got it fixed, in 2025, we had another big storm and Leif was there the next morning and this time we got the entire roof replaced. He came back several times to get samples and pics to prove to the ever denying insurance company that we needed repairs. He went above and beyond and the crew was so respectful of our house, pets, landscaping, etc. Some outfits come through town and promise the moon but Leif and McKinnis do it right and they don't play games. Thanks!

McKinnis Roofing replaced our roof and gutters last year after 2 hail storms. They were prompt and even did all the legwork through our insurance. Leif Vopnford is the appraiser that came out back then and 2 weeks ago, after Fremont got another hailstorm, he called and offered to come make sure nothing was damaged for free! He did and said all was good! If you want an honest guy, he is the real deal. These fly by night outfits keep calling my cell. Don't trust them. Call Leif at McKinnis! Thank you McKinnis!

We have used McKinnis multiple times over the last 20 years. They have either been on schedule or ahead of schedule for repairs/replacements. While there can be waiting periods after huge storms, all of the staff we have worked with have responded in a timely manner that we were pleased with. They handled everything from debating insurance companies to coming back out to correct issues found after completion. We have recommended McKinnis to clients, friends and family. We will continue to select McKinnis Roofing & Sheet Metal for our future exterior home repairs!
