We had Hickory Bourbon installed in the entire second floor of our house. The installers had a few problems, but resolved everything. The new flooring looks great. I will probably buy some of the matching color touch-up markers for a few imperfections in the wood.
My Maine Traditions flooring is so gorgeous. I love the wider plank and the lighter color. It matches my existing trim stain so well! The finish gives it a sheen of elegance but also a natural feel. It is so smooth walking in this floor too! Love that it’s made in the USA. Customer service has been so responsive and helpful as far as my questions on how to maintain the beauty of this floor! Great choice!!
I am in love with my Hard Maple Almond floors, they are even more beautiful in person! I was initially having a hard time finding a distributor but Keith from Maine Traditions helped make the entire process less stressful! Trust me when I say these floors are so gorgeous, I get so many Compliments!
We recently installed 800 sq, ft of engineered hardwood from Maine Traditions (Freeport collection, white oak/coastal grade). It's a great-looking floor and I was impressed with how well the tongues and grooves fitted together during installation. I was also impressed with the excellent variety of lengths contained in each package--a good and usable mix of 2', 3', 4', and 5' pieces, so that we never felt we were running out of any particular length, and it wasn't stingy on the long pieces. We had no boards we felt we had to reject in terms of their appearance or because they had problems, which seems notable over 25 boxes used. The new flooring transformed our house, and it looks to be an excellent quality product that should last us a long time. The wear layer is thick enough that the floor could be sanded and refinished someday, if needed, but the factory finish is tough and should withstand many years of use.
I absolutely love my new Maine Traditions floors! We didn’t have any damaged boards at all and we installed 1350 ft.². We chose maple in the toast stain and it’s just beautiful. Exactly what we wanted. Especially love the soft color variations of each board!
