Process was great and service was excellent. John went above and beyond throughout the diagnostic and quote process. You can tell he is very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does for a living. He went out of his way to understand and adapt to our needs and offer the best option for our situation. Hopefully I won’t need to see him again for a while but will happily be a long term customer as needs arise for any other heating or cooling issues we have in the future. Highly recommend.
I needed to find a company that I could build a relationship with that services mobile homes so kept searching till I found L & H. I emailed them in the middle of the night not expecting to hear back and was delighted the next morning with a call from Janelle. She got me on the schedule, explained what to expect and a few days later Matt arrived right on time. He did his thing and got my unit humming quietly again. Hooray!
We just purchased a house that did not have central heat and air conditioning. We were in search of a good company to install a new system and L&H came to our rescue ! Very satisfied with this company from the customer service to the actual service. This was the only company that didn’t try to upsell me things I didn’t need. Honest and reliable. I used this company for sealing my crawlspace vents and installing dehumidifier but will now be switching to them for all my hvac needs. The guy who did our estimate was so informative and straight forward. He sold me without selling me! Janelle was great to work with and went out of her way for my convenience. My service techs were very professional and got the job done efficiently. I’m so impressed! Will be a returning customer.
Let me begin by saying the purchase and installation experience with this company was good. After spending over $25,000 on two new systems for my home, I was impressed with how quickly they installed the systems. This was approximately two years ago. We recently added a monthly service charge of nearly $40 per month to insure our system was serviced appropriately. Shortly after their coming out, we began having issues with our upstairs air conditioning. Unfortunately for us, the outside temperatures were in the ninety five degree range. Obviously inside, the temperatures were over eighty degrees. We called L&H and my wife was told they could... Let me begin by saying the purchase and installation experience with this company was good. Shortly after their coming out, we began having issues with our upstairs air conditioning. Unfortunately for us, the outside temperatures were in the ninety five degree range. Obviously inside, the temperatures were over eighty degrees. We called L&H and my wife was told they could get to us in about three days. I called them and asked "why so long?" I was told they were bidding new jobs. After expressing my dissatisfaction, I was told by the receptionist, (I believe her name was Janelle) that they could send someone out that same day. They dispatched a representative three times within the same week. The technician did not have a ladder and had to borrow mine. There was something else he had to borrow. However, what that was escapes me. The following week, I called again and they sent a different representative. I had leakage coming from the attic area where some of the mechanisms were located. The new representative also did not remedy the problem. When I called the following day and inquired, I was given the run around. I was told on Wednesday after I had already called on Monday and Tuesday, the first representative indicated the pan on the unit needed replacing. I asked why it wasn't ordered. They did not have an answer. A day or so later, while still dealing with smoldering conditions in our home, I was again put off and told the part had to be ordered. I was not given a time frame, nor did they offer me any alternatives for staying cool until this part could be installed. I was also told that when they were finished installing this pan, I could choose whether or not I wanted to continue with my service agreement and utilization of their services. I did not hear back. After two weeks, I called another provider, Shelton Air Works. They responded promptly to my requests and came out immediately to address the issue and said it did need this pan. They were able to remedy the situation by getting the upstairs cool for us during the two weeks it took to get the pan ordered and delivered. They actually came out three times and provided exemplary service. My point is, L&H HVAC did not care that I was inconvenienced on a $25,000 system that I purchased from them and I had to utilize another provider to remedy the situation. They did not offer to do anything. They didn't offer and they didn't seem to care about our plight. I literally had these people, whom I was paying a monthly service agreement fee, treat me like this. I would highly discourage anyone from purchasing or utilizing any services they offer. Not only was their receptionist rude and their management uncaring, they were derelict in their responsibilities to their customer. To borrow the consumer advocate, Clark Howard's phrase. This is an example of "customer no service!" Obviously, if you are in the market for a system, they can sell and install it very quickly. However, when the system needs repair or maintenance, they are useless. I am not done with this issue and will take it further up the chain. I encourage anyone who has questions about this company or this review to reach out to me. I would greatly enjoy discussing this with them. Hence the one star review that is very generous!!!!!
