New years day we had a house full of family. Yuppp we backed up in the laundry room and basement bathroom.
I called the next business day and they came and got the plug out. However they did find some cast iron sewer pipe that was decaying plus a rootball that was hindering the flow of sewage.
Told me what needs to be done gave me an initial ball park figure and a few days later sent an emailed quote.
I accepted!
Couple weeks later they were here doing the repairs needed.
Replaced the section of bad pipe and prepared the interior of the old "good" pipe. They then installed the liner to extend the life of the existing cast Iron pipe. The owners and employees were kind and professional. Of course I had to snoop around and ask questions which they answered nicely.
When i returned home from work on Friday. Concrete was patched, plumbing all reassembled like they were never there!
We should be good "to go" now for the rest of our time in our home.
Great job guys!
This business did a great job installing our new sewer line. They were responsive during off hours when we had sewage backing up in our house. We were very happy with not only the work that was done, but also the professionalism, clean up afterwards (everything was put back how they found it), timeliness, and communication. Our job was over $20k to fix and it was important we found trustworthy workers to do it!
After having our sewer back-up into our basement , we discovered it was full of roots. After contacting numerous plumbing companies only a handful actually called back. Out of the handful that actually called back and came out to inspect and give a quote, Level Sewer & Drain was the only company that I felt I could trust to tackle the job. The other companies either felt like they were selling a product or told me it was going to be extremely expensive and disruptive since they would have to completely excavate the line. Level was dead on with their quote (as compared to the other quotes I got for the project) and offered a better service (a trenchless solution - pipebursting). Since they were busy at the time of quoting and said it would be several months until they could tackle the job, Josh ensured that if my sewer line were to back up in the meantime, that he would come out to clear it. To make things even more complicated for them, my wife and I were expecting a child around the time they said they could do the job!
When the time came around, despite the initial timeline getting pushed back a couple weeks (his initial timeline was a ballpark estimate), Josh stuck to his word that he and his team would get the job done before we had our child. He stuck to his promise, moved us up the list to get our project done and gave us a date and time to do the project. The morning of that day, my wife went into labor at 3 am! I texted Josh telling him that our house was his and that we went into labor and he told me it wasn't a problem and that he'd keep me updated. Initially, Josh told me it would take 3 days for pipebursting our sewer line and to replace it. I had heard from my neighbors that they completed the project in 1 day (staying until almost 8pm to do so)! They then came back the following day to cover the hole in the road with asphalt. I heard nothing but positive comments from my neighbors about the crew and Josh had even updated me with a timeline of pictures of the project being completed since he knew we were busy in the hospital. Thankfully he did, because when my wife and I got home after our 2 day hospital stay, I couldn't even tell that the crew had been there other than the asphalt patch work in the road. Our yard, basement, and hallway were completely cleaned up.
I have nothing but great things to say about these guys. They had turned an incredibly stressful experience, into a positive and memorable one. If we ever run into more plumbing issues in the future, I'll be giving my business to these guys every time.
Absolutely outstanding, wish I could give them a higher rating they deserve it. Big job running sewer and water 105 feet to house and removing septic tank. Start to finish 4 days flat. We had no inconveniences, they were super attentive to any concerns or request. Had a tench 10 ft deep they filled and landscaped to my satisfaction. Job came in exactly as bid. Friendly hardworking professionals, you can’t go wrong.
Don’t waste your time searching elsewhere—Level is the ultimate solution for your sewer drainage and water supply problems.
Josh and his team did an outstanding job fixing a serious issue beneath one of my rental properties. The cast iron sewer line had disintegrated, causing several inches of wastewater to pool in the basement.
Josh arrived promptly, inspected the sewer with a camera, and quickly diagnosed the problem. He developed a detailed plan: first, a plumber would address the pipes under the foundation, and then Level would burst-line the sewer pipe from the house to the main connection. Josh went above and beyond, staying available for advice throughout the cleanup and plumbing stages before his portion of the job—and he kept that promise, offering invaluable guidance.
Both the plumbing contractor and Level suggested replacing the old cast iron water supply line since it would already be exposed, and I agreed.
The results exceeded my expectations. While it was a costly and challenging repair, working with Level made the entire process far smoother and less stressful than it could have been. I highly recommend them!
