Very upsetting! Chose this company for a quote based on their review record for a large amount of responders. My problem is spending the winter in an expanded MH with no water flow since late Dec. except 2 weeks in late January. Finally got a handy man at a reasonable price to climb under this place to see if any heat tapes present. There are but apparently extension cords were used and that's not to code. So LaPlantes called me back today to schedule a visit to see if I need one or three GFCI outlets and connect to the wall panel inside. OMG...WOW!! They want $89 just to drive from shop to my home! Then another $250 ×- to go under and conduct AN ESTIMATE! I had a handyman spend 2 hours and provide supplies for $125 yesterday under there. Guess the Electricians license has the power!! Maybe with the Rockefellers!! I'd give one star but not sure how many more of these prices Im going to get!

Our 3-unit HOA used LaPlante to upgrade our electrical service, replace our panels, and add a new common panel. Mike was our primary contact and was great to work with, answering all our questions patiently and thoroughly, understanding our goals, and developing a smooth plan for executing what was a very big job. LaPlante did a fantastic job shepherding us through the whole process, including coordinating with the City of Portland and CMP. The day of our 2 scheduled power shutdowns they had a whole team of electricians on site to make sure everything got done on time for power to be restored by the evening.
