I had an extremely disappointing experience with Landscapology in Charlottesville. They were hired for general cleanup, weeding, trimming, and leaf removal — yet none of these tasks were completed correctly. Leaf removal and weeding, which was explicitly included in the quote, didn’t happen at all. When I complained, they scheduled the weeding/leaf removal a month later, which I ended up canceling because the situation was already unacceptable. The “dump fee” they charged was clearly an overcharge, and they did not adjust the fee to exclude the leaf removal that was never performed. Overall: high prices, poor results, and no quality control or oversight of the subcontractors. Their claim of “attention to detail” is ridiculous. I truly don’t understand the glowing reviews. I will not be using them ever again.

I had Errett out earlier this year to give me an estimate, both for some simple lawn maintenance/mulching and for a larger landscaping redesign. He was very polite, professional, and enthusiastic, and the same can be said about the four guys (TJ, Kess, Ricky, and Pedro) who came back in July to spread some new mulch for me. Everyone worked very hard to get the job done, even in the middle of a 90-something degree day, and I was very pleased with the results. I will definitely be going back to Landscapology in the future!

The landscaping work was absolutely top-notch – meticulous, creative, and clearly done with pride and attention to detail. A special thank you to Angie Powers in the office, who was incredibly helpful and friendly every step of the way. She answered all of my questions with patience and clarity, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. It's rare to find such a combination of quality craftsmanship and excellent customer service.
