The video for upholstering a Martha Washington chair was very helpful and complete. Couldn't do the job without it. Under "general supplies" listed, it would have been more helpful to know more specific quantities of supplies to order. Although they list some wholesalers where supplies can be purchased, not being a wholesaler made it harder to find a retail supplier in my area.
I can’t recommend Kim’s Upholstery enough! She has a heart for teaching and it shows in how she shares her knowledge. If it’s just your own pieces or if you own an upholstery business the value of what she teaches gives you the skills to make them all look professional.
I’ve truly enjoyed having a membership with Kim’s Upholstery, and was able to successfully reupholster several simple dining chairs, reupholster a wingback chair, and also slipcover another wingback. Kim has a very upbeat teaching manner, she’s very precise and gives all sorts of sewing advice along the way. The whole community of Kim’s Upholstery is very helpful; I’ve had a couple of questions over the years and they were always answered promptly. If you’re serious about tackling an upholstery project, Kim’s Upholstery has with their membership a number of excellent tutorials that should address most types of furniture pieces.

I regularly review Kim's excellent video tutorials and check in on Wednesdays for Kim's Upholstery Live to receive real time advice and see what my upholstery peers are up to.
