Kenny's Electric

We had a brand new electric panel and service installed this past summer by the largest Rhode Island electric and plumbing company - you know their jingle. Our previous panel and main feed needed to be replaced. I wish we had used Kenny instead. One of our circuits in our basement popped a few weeks ago. I’m glad I did as home. I smelled an electrical fire, so I knew something was wrong. I found the problem and was able to isolate the circuit before we could get someone to come out and fix the problem. When Kenny came out, he opened up the breaker box and immediately saw the problem. That other company had used these new connectors instead of wire nuts to connect all the legacy electric wires to the new panel. Well, they aren’t rated for the amps I was pumping through them, so one of them exploded, causing my problem. Kenny had never seen these new connectors and we both now know not to trust them. Now I need to call and get that other company to come back out and replace the rest of the junk they installed in our box. I also just wanted to say, Kenny is a really nice guy. He was eager to show me what the problem was and was able to get us all fixed up in under an hour! On a weekend, with zero notice! Highly recommended
