We hired Jerry and his team (Daniel and Ruben) to repair our drywall and paint after re-piping our house. They were highly communicative and went the extra mile to ensure they left the space clean for us to get back to normal life (Ruben even mopped our floor from the drywall dust on his hands and knees!). They showed up on time each day and ensured we were happy with their work. Would HIGHLY recommend their team to anyone needing their services!
JR did such an amazing job! They were right on time, fixed our drywall (so much better than when another company fixed it!) and even re-textured the wall for us, all in the span of an hour. They kept the area very tidy and wore booties in our house, which we really appreciated. We would highly recommend them and hope to work with them again.
I made an appointment on Wed for the next Mon and found out later that day that I would not be able to keep the appointment. I called the office and there was no answer. I received a text message telling me I could text back on that thread to change or cancel appointments, which I did, stating that I needed to reschedule. I never received a reply and tried calling a again but still got no response. On Monday morning I got a call from the office manager telling me that their person was on site waiting for me. I told the her that I had called and texted to change the appointment and had never heard back from them. She told me that I would be charged a $30 fee for the missed appointment. I told her I would not pay a fee and would report them to the BBB if they tried to charge me for a failure on their end. The office manager sounded young and confused, and repeatedly talked over me and argued with me. Even after she found the missed text from me she said they would be charging me. I was upset by the interaction where the office manager accused me of being unprofessional, never acknowledging that I had done my part to communicate and make changes in a more than timely manner. After I hung up on the conversation I received a text from Gerardo, the owner, accusing me of being disrespectful to their employee. I did not call her names or yell at her, but I was impatient and frustrated with being talked over and argued with, especially after it was clear that the failure was on her end.
Update: 09/12/25
Sandra, the office manager contacted later on the day of the initial interaction asking to work through "the issues". I did not have time to meet but they did offer a possible discount to compensate for the frustrating interaction if I gave them the opportunity to bid on my job.
The crew at JR Drywall was extremely professional and provided wonderful detail to their work. There was an issue with the framing, not their scope of work, and JR's team brought it to our general contractors attention and it was resolved. I appreciate the fact that the crew did not want to do a job that would not look good. Their attention to detail was awesome. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a drywall contractor. They completed the job in a timely manner as well and cleaned up after themselves!!
