Jim did an amazing job on our water heater! He was fast and clean. I would highly recommend Jim and his crew to come change out an old water heater with a new one and will utilize his services again in the future. Thank you Jim for your services!
I would highly recommend Jim Bertolino for any plumbing needs. I am a newer home owner and have never had to deal with plumbing issues before. Jim spent over 30 minutes on the phone with me (before he even came to my house ) to listen to my concerns, trouble shoot, and talk me through his process of finding a leak. He made me feel 100% confident that the job would be done correctly with no question if he was capable. He was communicative throughout the entire process. He diagnosed my leak and fixed it in a timely manner ( and it was on a Sunday). I can sleep well tonight knowing my pipes arent going to explode. If you have the chance to choose him vs a “well known” name, pick him. Thanks Jim!
Jim is a godsend--he does great quality work and it is absolutely worth it to schedule with him. He came out to fix a leak caused by an old shower drain. We trust him completely to fix our plumbing issues and he always upgrades things for the better for years to come--he's extremely thorough in his diagnosis and checks to ensure the plumbing is secure and fixed. In addition, he is an amazing advocate when handling an insurance claim--originally we were told they would not cover the full extent of the repair, but this changed after the agent talked with Jim. As a homeowner, Jim has always educated us on what the problem is, what he's doing, and explains everything thoroughly so that you are well-informed throughout the entire process! We love Jim!
Our Water heater had expired unexpectedly and Jim Bertolino & Son Plumbing and Drain Service Inc. thankfully came to our rescue 😅. They were incredibly expedient & knowledgeable and had an old water heater taken out and exchanged for a new and upgraded one in one business day. They explained the entire process in laments terms with over 40 years + of experience to easily put my family and I at ease during what would have been other wise a stressful time. I am a lifelong customer for sure.
First things first, I would highly recommend Jim and his team for any of your plumbing needs. We just bought a house and found out that the newly upgraded bathroom shower was leaking to the first floor when in use. We called Jim on Saturday and he was able to come to take a look at our problem on Monday. Initial response time was an A+ in my opinion. He was able to find the problem area and offered two courses of action based on what he was able to find upon more detailed inspection. He found the exact problem and educated us on exactly what occurred and how it needed to be fixed (while pointing out some of the shortfalls done by the contractors who renovated it before we bought it). Jim and his son came back the next day; accommodating our hectic schedule. After a few hours of work and cleanup, he was educating us on what he did, allowed us to inspect his work, and demonstrated that the problem was resolved. Quality of work was an A+ as well. The final result depicted in the picture; the leak was coming from old hardware (not shown) and he replaced with new/upgraded hardware and connections. They cleaned up the work site and ensured we were happy with the results. The over 30 years of plumbing experience shows in his work and in his explanation of the problem, possible solutions, and Virginia Code. I would HIGHLY recommend Jim and his team. His information is now stored on my phone and if there are any plumbing problems in the future, he will be my first call.
