- - - Volunteers and staff are appreciated throughout the years by those rich in heart for the joys of the magical belief of the Christmas season. The Grinchmas 🎁, luxurious event is awesome! Silly fees though. To wait in the line made me feel like the observer should be paid for considering their company. But, I get it, nothing's free.
Their store layout is very lovely. Nice quality products, it appears.
The one time I went to order supplies I believe they said they only supplied supply's if they install. That's why I think I only gave them 4:5 stars.

We were lured in by the beautiful showroom and spent WELL over $150,000 with Jim and Theresa. My advice.....go elsewhere!
The glass fronts in our kitchen cabinets (installed late and only a few months ago) are all loose and almost falling out, and in asking about getting the NEW cabinets fixed, have been told by Jim to do it ourselves, and/or take the doors off and take them to the shop which is 30 minutes away. REALLY? What business operates like this? Obviously, no warranty on their products because I asked.
In addition, we received a call 3 days before our $30,000 floor was to be installed (which we had ordered months in advance) saying that the vendor only had 300ft of the 1500ft needed, so after being told by Theresa that "if she could cancel the special order"..again REALLY....that we could go ahead and go elsewhere.
I've never experienced anything like this. Our entire new build was 2 months behind due to Huffman's not ordering the materials on time and as for the follow-up, good luck!

I have emails and texts to verify my post. My info is totally documented.
And as far as offering a solution for the cabinets, it took multiple emails with Jim and days for any answer/resolution which was us detaching our fragile 4’ 1/2 “ (w) 17 x 1/2” (w) new cabinet glass front doors, bringing them to you (a 30 minute drive each way) for repair. The 24 hour need for the cabinets to settle, was never even discussed.
I simply asked if 1 of the 3 installers who did our cabinets could come and fix. Jim said you had no installers. How is that possible?
If this is the route we have to go, my husband will remove the doors, bring them to you, return 24 hours later for pick up, and reinstall. But we expect his time for work and travel to be paid at the rate you’d pay your installers. And your word that should they be damaged during this proceess, that you replace and cover any dsmages.

I am very thrilled that my beautiful kitchen renovation turned out exactly how I imagined it. A big thank you to Theresa, Jim and Chasity at J.C. Huffman. I had no idea I would go with custom cabinets, but decided to because they did not cost that much more. Working with Jim, I was able to create exactly what I wanted. I would show him my plan and he would draw it up on the computer. The craftsmanship from Jim and his team was impeccable. I would bring in a picture of the hood I wanted, then Jim and his team would create it for me. I also turned a closet into a mudroom by my back door - brought in the picture and Jim created it exactly like I showed him. Theresa and Jim were always there when I had questions and needed help. They have great ideas and a knowledge of experience. They helped me move along in this process because it can be overwhelming at times. I did have a challenge at the end when it was time for the countertops. I was going with Millennium in Ottumwa where I thought they had a slab saved for me for my counters but turned out they were out of it. Theresa came to the rescue with an even better option from another countertop place in Iowa where it did not slow up the completion of my kitchen. Chasity has a talent with matching and picking out colors. My kitchen is simply white with a white oak island. I feel very fortunate that we have a cabinetry store like Huffman's in Fairfield where I did not have to work with a company out of town. The team at Huffman's was very easy to work with, super helpful and reliable. A kitchen renovation with knocking walls down can be an enormous project but working with them made it easily possible.
My dads mobility was declining due to his age. I reached out to Jim and Teresa with the idea of installing a walk-in shower. They had it measured and ordered within 72 hours. The worked with the installer of my choice (Steve Winslow). Huffman also handled painting the bathroom so it was as hassle-free for me as possible, as I live in a different town. Highly recommend them.
