Shout out to Ackerman Plumbing for quickly fitting us in to service, update and maintain plumbing. These guys are super friendly, knowledgeable and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure the work gets done timely and accurately. Special thanks to Hugh who recently stepped us through sump pump options and installed a new reliable pump that very same day! Also, Troy who has come to my aid for past issues. Such great, reliable and trustworthy people to work with!
Ackerman Plumbing is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC to work with!!! Their team is second to none!!! They communicate EXTREMELY WELL and get the job done ASAP!!! Corey, Hugh and their entire team is GREAT!!!
We had a sewer gas smell that had intermittently plagued us for a few months. No one could find a solution to the problem. Ackerman's crew accessed the situation and performed diagnostics to locate the source of the problem. The repair was made, and we are now gas free!
Professional and down to earth people. Can't thank them enough.
I've had 4 people reach out to me in the last week about my shower remodel, so I thought it would be easier to update my review. The short answer is "I love my remodel." The long answer is as follows: When we bought our house, the shower had a VERY cheap tub installed and the tile job was chunky, and uneven. It looked great from a distance, but was a "transformer" if you got a close-up look. Matt Krupp heads up the remodel team and he is a dream contractor. He's polite, knowledgeable, and doesn't create "secondary problems." Considering the small space he had to work in, it's nothing short a miracle that he kept the rest of the area undamaged. This is actually my personal measure of how good a contractor is, and Matt is your guy if you have expectations of a minimal mess and no further damage to the rest of your home. The onyx that replaced my tile is even, seamless, and a breeze to clean. I had a credit at the end of the job. I've opted to put that towards glass doors. Another company handles that, so I'm at their mercy to be in the queue to be measured, but when the doors get installed, I will be glad to share a photo. The only improvement I can suggest is for the hardware to be a bit more symmetrical. One of their plumbers is coming next week to even that out for me - no big deal. As I offer with any of my projects, you are more than welcome to come see if for yourself. I've read many of the reviews on this site and it seems that the biggest criticism of Ackerman is their pricing. Believe me, I just want a round with Corey myself on that. Here is my advice, - just pay the money. I know they are a little more, but you get a top-notch office manager (Kim), and employees slotted by "best specialty." They do background checks and drug testing on all employees. Their sense of humor is free. Give them a try.
Ackerman plumbing has the best customer service and came through to install a new water softener for us. Kim was very professional and lined up the initial consultation and Dale told us exactly what we needed with a reasonable estimate. The turn around time for service was extremely fast and Dale went over the plan and cost before starting any work. He was extremely courteous. He took extra care not to leave a mess when he was done working. We were impressed and would highly recommend Ackerman Plumbing.
