Jay's Appliance Repair

After a nightmare experience with Best Buy’s customer service when our built-in fridge started failing, we turned to neighborhood recommendations and found Jay Rappaport. Jay responded to our text almost immediately on a Monday and had us on his schedule by Tuesday. He diagnosed the issue quickly, ordered the part, and had us back up and running by Friday. Jay is professional, punctual, and truly knows his craft. We won't be calling anyone else from now on!

Jay is great to work with – if you don’t care when the job gets done. When he was here, he was great – knowledgeable, courteous, helpful. However, 7 weeks passed between when he diagnosed the problem and when he returned with the replacement part. To be fair, he warned me that getting parts is slow. But what was particularly frustrating was the lack of communication during those 7 weeks. Our voicemails to their office were never returned. And when we were able to reach to a person, we rarely got any useful information. While we understand that there are things outside of their control, we found it unacceptable that once the part had arrived, it took yet another 2 weeks for him to show up to replace it. It was a job that took less than 2 minutes. To recap, after waiting 5 weeks, we had to wait another 2 weeks for 2 minutes of his time. (Yes, travel time isn’t negligible, but that doesn’t negate my point.)

I cannot say enough GREAT THINGS about the SUPER FAST, EFFICIENT, AND AFFORDABLE SERVICE I just recieved from your repairman, Hunter! He called me this morning, said he was in the area and could get to my house in 15 minutes! (I was afraid it would be DAYS OF WAITING!) HE FIXED MY DRYER AND VACUUMED OUT ALL THE LINT IN THE CASING!! And he could NOT have been nicer or more polite...I will definitely be calling Jay's Appliance for all my repair needs in the future...Thank you, and Merry Christmas, Hunter, and Jay's Appliance Repair!!
