John was responsive, on time, and highly professional. His prices may be a little higher, but you get what you pay for. Matt, the technician, did a great job fixing my shower head leak, temperature control valve, and shower door. Word to the wise - they do more than painting!

2/15/2018 - J&A came back to paint a bonus room above my garage and patch a few drywall areas around the house. They did a great job filling the nail holes on the shiplap and then painting the space, looks really good. The guys also did a great job repairing some of the drywall spots. I’d use them again in a heartbeat for my drywall and painting needs. Original review: J&A painting did a great job dry walling and painting my house in Ivy. Peak Builders used J&A Painting so initially I didn't have much direct contact with John but got to enjoy their handy work in the latter part of the building process and after moving in. After moving in we had a few defects in some doors which were replaced under warranty but that gave John and his team an opportunity to come back out to paint/stain while I was there and I got to meet them. They did an absolute awesome job not only getting the work done to high standards but also communicating their schedule and making sure the work area was clean when they left. I understand Peak has used J&A for awhile now and as a builder I'm sure you quickly learn who is a reliable and qualified trade partner. My experience with J&A and the relationship with Peak is a pretty good indication of how they operate. 10/25/2024 - J&A painting finished my basement and did an excellent job as the picture attest to.

We highly recommend J&A. They wallpapered our gym, and wallpapered and replaced tile in our laundry room. We’ve worked with several contractors over the years, and J&A has been one of the most communicative and transparent. Their team was efficient and respectful of our home. They came back to do a few minor touch ups, and we love the final result!
