I honestly thought my MacBook was dead. I accidentally spilled hot latte on my keyboard. It wasn't just a few drops, it was a pretty big spill that covered the entire keyboard. I was in a complete panic. For context, my computer is a MacBook Air (M1, 2020, 16GB). Before coming here, I checked Apple’s repair options and even made a reservation at the Apple Store in Ala Moana. However, since I don’t have AppleCare, I quickly learned that liquid damage repairs often range from around $700 to well over $1,200. The potential cost was shocking, and I honestly didn’t know what to do. That’s when I found this shop — and it turned out to be the best decision I could have made. It was already late on a Saturday, less than an hour before closing, and they still kindly told me to bring it in. I rushed from town to Kailua, and they immediately took a careful look at my computer. By Monday, everything was repaired and ready for pickup. Fortunately, my trackpad survived the spill, so only an internal cleaning and keyboard replacement were needed. What truly stood out to me was the transparency and flexibility. Instead of pushing expensive new parts, they gave me options, including a very high-quality A-grade used keyboard to help reduce the cost. It looks and feels completely new — I genuinely cannot tell the difference. Total cost: $239. Nearly three months later, my keyboard works flawlessly every single day. Accidents happen. If you ever face liquid damage or any MacBook issue — especially without AppleCare — I strongly recommend checking with this shop before going anywhere else.
