From the first phone call to installation, HomeWiz was an absolute pleasure to work with! Dan and Howard listened to my needs, inspired confidence with their expert advice, and clearly explained my options in terms of product type. They were timely, professional, and efficient with both the estimate and installation process. They installed an external plug and transfer switch for a portable generator in February (bitter cold day!) under the time estimated. Two weeks later, my home lost power for a 14 hour stretch. Their product performed flawlessly. I recommend HomeWiz without any hesitation and will absolutely be calling them if I am ever in need any electrical/HVAC work in the future.
Even though I did not wind up using their services in this particular instance, the representatives at HomeWiz were extremely professional and responsive. I called 6-8 other electricians and none were willing to make an appointment that fit my schedule or they did not return my call. The representatives at HomeWiz were extremely accommodating and explained their policies and procedures thoroughly. I plan on using them should the need arise in the future.

Our AC system was acting up again......We called HomeWiz....They answered their phones, came to our house the same day, repaired the AC system, and did not break the bank. That was last year. Since then, I have not had the yearly problems that I had before having them to my house. Thanks HomeWiz.

HomeWiz is a lifesaver! I initially thought I had four small and simple jobs, but it turned out that everything was more complicated than expected. Howard and Bobby guided me through the options and were able to complete the work the same day. We also discovered that I bought a defective ceiling fan after it was installed. Howard explained everything thoroughly and even returned the next day to finish the installation. HomeWiz was easy to schedule, professional, knowledgeable, and enjoyable. They take customer service seriously, and I would definitely choose to work with them again!
At the end of July I contacted HomeWiz to come out and look at an electrical job at an older residence. They were available to come out that day, however once they arrived, we found that there was some miscommunication between us and unfortunately we weren’t able to move forward with working together. HomeWiz worked with me and was willing to refund me partial payment that I had given them for coming out that day. Thanks guys!
I called for fixing 2 lights on sign for the restaurant. The process kind like too many steps . - First, call for appointment is $99. We have to pay first then set an appointment. - Second, the date for appointment when they are arriving the estimate for diagnostics for $882 then we have to pay first and they will do the job. - Third, estimate for fixing the problem is $565 yes we have to pay first then they will finish it. I gave them good credit because they done job very fast.
I wanted Home Wiz to trade out/update 5 older light fixtures with fixtures I had already purchased - two bathroom vanity fixtures, two can lights in a cabinet over the kitchen sink and an eye-level post light on the outside deck. I paid $99 to have them come to my home for an estimate. I was given a quote of $2825 or $565 per fixture for installation. I did feel pressured to make a quick decision and decided not to proceed as I felt the quote was high based on similar electrical work I had done recently.
The actual contractor was a nice guy, work looks solid accept they left a message and made unnecessary hole in my ceiling and then tried to tell me it was already there. They however made no attempt to contact me when the job was finished. When I called the customer service representative and I was angry because to my eye nothing was done. After rudely explaining what was done, the rep began to berate me and said if I wanted to kick someone's puppy he wasn't gonna take it, he said this repeatedly then hung up on me. The most unprofessional "professionals" I've ever worked with, and I was a contractor for a decade. Amendment. So their e-mail system apparently didn't send me the job complete email which is where initial frustration came from. After having a conversation with another tech I had a calmer conversation. After posting this review I was called by the same tech ,Ken, and he attempted to guilt me into removing/editing my review. This leads me to believe their comments are mostly curated. Another addendum: now the contractor just called me and berated and threatened to leave bad teviews on my Professional page.
