Carl and Mario did an amazing job on my oak floors. The remodeler from the 1970s added hardwood red oak to my enclosed kitchen and stained the white oak (everwhere else) more red, which was fine until I removed all the walls we then found misaligned pieces on the other side of the wall. Realizing we had 2 different kinds of oak Carl and Mario went above and beyond to realign, match and blend my floors. They look great. I am so grateful. This is their second job with me and they have my whole hearted recommendation to anyone looking for revarnishing, refinishing, repair, or stain matching of wood floors. To me their hallmarks are customer service, amazing workmanship and trustworthiness, at a fair price as well! The pictures with the vent whole in the floor are before.

Stop looking for a flooring company and choose Hawkins! If you are undecided in flooring go to the show room because there are so many styles and designs, they even let us take a few of the giant samples home to try it out. They walked us through pros and cons with wood species, grades, type of flooring. I never felt pressured like I had to go with them either, it was a very friendly conversation. Our floors had certain high spots and they knew how to handle them and level the floors to lay the wood. The detail in transitions, stairs, and cutting around things was phenomenal, leaving enough room for expansion but will be covered by a baseboard (we are trying to avoid quarterround). The best part: we chose a hickory flooring but had oak stair treads and Mike tried his best to get the stairs to match the floors even if different wood. He went above and beyond and the wood stain they used looks so good with the floor. This company cares about the detail and we love our new floors. Thanks William, Mike, Gina, and Carl.
