I would highly recommend Hardwood Flooring Specialists! Not only were they professional, reasonable, responsive, and a pleasure to work with, they left us with an outstanding finished product and truly do stand behind the quality of their work. Having done multiple home renovations and a new build, I know how hard it can be to find a contractor that checks all the boxes above, but these guys really do! After seeing they had good reviews and getting a very reasonable estimate from them, we decided to hire them to tear out and replace our 100 year old hardwood floors that were in rough shape. After tearing out the old floors, at our request, they screwed down the existing subfloor throughout our main floor to help eliminate creaking noises. Between that and securing the new flooring, they eliminated 95% of the squeaks! Jessie and Josiah did a great job tearing out the old floors and installing the new planks. Phil left us with an outstanding finish. Kelley in the office was very helpful in answering our questions and always a pleasure to work with, and James was extremely responsive and ensured we got a quality product we were satisfied with. We did have some concerns about our initial finish coat, but when we shared them with James, he ensured they were addressed, leaving us with a finished product we were more than pleased with. For this reason (and the many already listed above), I wouldn't hesitate to 100% recommend James and his team and look forward to working with them again on future projects.
