Had a smog check done and it was fast staff was friendly. Would get a 5 stars but I asked about an AC recharge and charging $160 just to diagnose when other places diagnose for free was a bit much, being that all I needed was a recharge $160+ the recharge amount (which was $268 at another shop which included an inspection and diagnostic) was a lot.
For the California tune in tune up program. This shop was very good and got my car to pass smog. The only problem I have is they are very not good talking the phone. If they would have been more professional it’ll make it 10x better. But for the service they did to my car it was excellent. I highly recommend this place if you have the voucher for smog.
Went in for a brake and lamp inspection was told over the phone it would cost 140 then in person i was told 200. After waiting a day for them to inspect it they said it failed for my fenders and splash shield not being on the car. I told the guy over the phone that the parts were in my trunk because I had been working on my car and took them off and asked if they could put it on so it could pass and they wanted to charge 2 hours of labor which came out to an additional 300 bucks. It takes 20 min max to put a couple clips in… wouldn’t go here again 😕 Edit: hopefully you can go back to my phone call on 5/15 at 3:06 and hear if your employee said 140 or 200 because I definitely heard 140. If having the fender liners and splash shield off the car was a fail it should’ve been the first thing you seen when looking at my brakes and tires what’s the point wasting time with the whole inspection if that’s gonna fail it to begin with. I wouldn’t have minded paying your service fee if you weren’t trying to charge 2 hours of labor for a 20 min job 🤦🏽♂️.
