I’m completely disgusted with the Get It Now store in Fond du Lac. The employees especially the manager, Dee are extremely unprofessional. Back in May 2025, after a breakup, my ex still had his belongings at my house. The manager kept harassing me, saying my ex had defaulted and that they needed to come see the items. I told him I didn’t feel comfortable with that and didn’t want anyone coming into my home, especially because I have a daughter. Even after that, he actually came to my house around 8:30 PM, well after business hours. I had to ask my neighbor to come over because I felt unsafe. The whole situation was uncomfortable and completely inappropriate. I had been a loyal customer for years, first with the West Bend location before it closed, and I had just finished paying off several items like a couch, a TV, and a Nintendo Switch. When West Bend closed, I continued my account through Fond du Lac and got a mattress and a PS5 from them. Now, even though I’m not even a week behind on payments, the Fond du Lac store constantly harasses me. I’ve told them I get paid on Tuesdays, yet they call nonstop and make threats to take my things. I also told them that I’ve moved, but they still keep sending letters to my old address and even said they would “find me” to take my stuff. That’s not only unprofessional, it’s harassment. For the record, I now live on private property with no-trespassing signs, and legally they have no right to show up here. The person who moved into my old place told me they keep sending letters there, which honestly just proves how unorganized and desperate they are. At this point, I purposely make sure I pay late enough not to default, because I refuse to be bullied by their threats. It’s honestly funny how they keep trying, but it’s also sad because this isn’t how a business should treat paying customers. Nice try, guys, but you won’t get anywhere with this behavior. This store needs serious training on professionalism, respect, and customer privacy. I would never recommend the Fond du Lac location to anyone, it’s been one of the most uncomfortable and frustrating experiences I’ve ever had.

Got a broken recliner twice. That I continued to pay for, for months . finally after stoping payment I still had to wait almost two months after I stopped paying for them to pick up the chair. Every week their manager promised a call back with a resolution. Each time they called and offered the same recliner but new. I declined since it was the second one that was broke no longer than a couple weeks of owning. After their manager told me they could do nothing but offer a repo which would hit my credit, I had to threaten with the BBB just to get them to do what's right. Well after they had me waiting for two days with no call I finally had to tell them it was outside come get it. Well they did and they still reported it and my credit got hit 52 points. I will be filling to the BBB this place is a fraud and shady as hell don't waste your money.. 4 month update after speaking with their corporate I was promised this would be resolved and removed from collections it is not. Every month it hits my credit and my score goes lower even though I've never been late on a payment. The guy in corporate promised it would be resolved and they would credit anything I paid on my chair towards my mattress I still had with them and nothing. This place is such a scam and I will now have my credit affected till sept 2030 because of them. Use affirm for big ticket prices you'll get nowhere with these people
Been a customer for a long time. Never been treated so badly. Problem with my frigerater no help they did not even call anyone on it.Asked about a bed I wanted said did not have one in the store. Asked them to check another store to get one in. Never got back to me. Never had problems before. New people running the fond du lac store. Now I want nothing from get it now.
I did not know any of the staff here when I made my first purchase but I have continued to buy from here even though I could go elsewhere because I absolutely love the staff. They have been great to me and it is literally the one bill I look forward to paying. As weird as that sounds, I wish every bill I had to pay was to a group of people just like them. Personable and on a first name basis.
