Never thought I would find a Hockey repair leather place, let alone a real leatherworker(s). These are professional Gentlemen, that truly know their craft. I am 61 and remember visiting the local leather shop. This was WAY butter. Not the best pic but there was about 1/4" left of the old sewn in strap. They ripped the seam and sewed in the new strap. $60 versus new pads at over $1000. (St. Paul location)
These guys are magic, it took barely 2 weeks to send my gloves to them, get them repalmed, and get them back! I know timing can change depending on the season and a lot of things, but even then, you can’t beat this quality of work for their pricing. I asked for a single layer on one hand with overlay on the other, and they nailed it. I also got shot blockers removed and they didn’t even charge for it!
I don’t leave many reviews, but I mailed in an old pair of skates for a tuuk replacement and catch glove for a palm repair and the boys absolutely crushed it with a quality repair and prompt service during peak season at a reasonable price. They even picked a replacement tuuk that fits the corny 90s motif of the skate well. They’ll be getting all my family’s hockey repairs from this point forward!
Go here! They cobble good. Exhibit: I brought in my reidell skate boots to get the lace hooks replaced (factory lace hooks are very weak and sharpen over time to cut your laces) and also get a rubberized protective coating over the toe of the boot. As seen in the photos, he did an EXCELLENT job, and my 3 year old skates that see near daily use outdoors are now set to live at least another 3 years. THANK YOU!! I will be going here for all my cobbling needs.
