Warning – Dishonest Repair Experience About 3 months ago, I went to this phone repair shop "Gadget Guy "because my microphone was barely audible during calls. I was told it might only need cleaning, or possibly a board replacement. In both cases, I had to pay a $50 deposit, and another $50 if the board was replaced. I left my phone and paid the $50. Later, I was told the board was replaced and asked to pay an additional $50, which I did. The phone worked fine — but only for one month. Then the exact same problem came back. I took the phone to another technician. After inspection, he confirmed that the board was never replaced — it was the original factory board. He found a small piece of plastic blocking the mic, removed it, charged me $30, and the phone has been working perfectly ever since. This was clear deception. I do not recommend this place and advise others to stay away.
